At AVEA Pools, we combine an outsider’s approach with insider knowledge. We know what it takes and costs to build an amazing pool, but we design it around the house. We work to improve the overall experience of your home, not just improve the property. Our goals are simple: better integration of pool and home design and to make the process and pricing easier to understand.
With the core belief that service is the key to continued growth, real estate law experts Doug Watson and Casey Lambright established Frontier Title in 2006. Frontier Title quickly gained a foothold as the premier title insurance company in Katy, Texas and across the West Houston area. Previously in-house legal counsel for a mortgage bank operating in twenty-six states, Doug Watson lent industry expertise to operating a sound practice. When Casey Lambright brought his years as a real estate attorney representing builders, developers, and lending institutions, Frontier Title expanded rapidly.
“Primer Grey has partnered with Frankel Building Group for the last 4 years. We’ve enjoyed immensely working closely with Scott and Kevin, getting to know their business inside and out, and helping to grow it. It’s hard to believe, but they treat their vendors as well as they do their customers!”

Our Associations and Certifications
U.S. Green Building Council
The U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC), based in Washington DC, is dedicated to promoting a prosperous, sustainable American future through cost-efficient, energy-saving green buildings. With 78 local affiliates, 18,000+ member companies and organizations, and 140,000+ LEED Professional Credential holders, USGBC is the driving force of an industry projected to contribute $554 billion to the U.S. gross domestic product from 2009-2013. USGBC leads an unlikely diverse constituency of builders and environmentalists, corporations and nonprofit organizations, elected officials and concerned citizens, and teachers and students.
Buildings in the U.S. are responsible for 39% of CO2 emissions, 40% of energy consumption, 13% water consumption and 15% of GDP per year, making green building a source of significant economic and environmental opportunity. Better building efficiency can meet 85% of future U.S. demand for energy, and a national commitment to green building has the potential to generate 2.5 million American jobs.
Scott has made great strides in changing public perception on green buildings. He has spearheaded Frankel’s campaign to present the value of green technology and the efficient use of energy and sustainable resources in building custom homes. In addition, under Scott’s leadership, Frankel has committed to building every new home to the USGBC LEED for Homes Certified Standards.
LEED For Homes
LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) is an internationally recognized green building certification system providing independent, third-party verification that a building or community was designed and built with measures to improve performance across the most important metrics: energy savings, water efficiency, CO2 emissions reduction, improved indoor environmental quality, and stewardship of resources and sensitivity to their impacts. Developed by the USGBC, LEED provides building owners and operators with a concise framework to identify and implement practical, measurable green building design, construction, operations and maintenance solutions.
LEED can be applied to commercial as well as residential buildings of all types. It works throughout the building lifecycle – design and construction, operations and maintenance, tenant fit-out, and significant retrofit. And LEED for Neighborhood Development extends the benefits of LEED beyond the building footprint into the neighborhood it serves.
As NAHB-Certified Green Professionals, Scott and Kevin Frankel proudly construct every custom home to meet LEED for Homes standards. We choose to offer this service at no extra cost to the client because Scott and Kevin are able to build green at the same cost as a conventional home. Plus, we are the only home builder in the Houston area to do so. We’re also excited to announce the successful completion of our 200th custom LEED build!
National Association of Builders
NAHB, “The voice of America’s housing industry,” is a trade association based in Washington, D.C. with the mission of enhancing the climate for housing and the building industry. Among NAHB’s chief goals is to provide and expand opportunities for all consumers to have safe, decent and affordable housing. NAHB also helps promote policies that keep housing a national priority. Founded in 1942, NAHB unites more than 800 state and local associations. About a third of the association’s 160,000+ members are home builders/remodelers. The remaining members work in fields closely related to the housing industry, such as mortgage finance and building products and services.
NAHB’s groups analyze policy issues, promote the industry through media and other outlets, monitor and work toward improving the housing finance system, and analyze and forecast economic and consumer trends. They also provide a wide range of services to members and Home Builder Associations. The association also represents the home building industry’s interests on Capitol Hill and works to keep housing a national priority during lawmaking and the establishment of policies. NAHB also works with federal agencies on regulations affecting the housing industry in areas such as mortgage finance, codes, energy and the environment. About 80 percent of new homes built each year in the U.S. are constructed by NAHB members.
Scott was named NAHB’s 2016 Best in Green (BIG) Young Professional of the Year and has also served on the NAHB Green Building and Sustainability Subcommittee. He will represent that committee as an advisor to the NAHB’s Education Committee on the subject of green buildings.
Greater Houston Builders Association
The Greater Houston Builders Association, a local trade association chartered in 1941, represents all aspects of the greater Houston area’s home building industry. The GHBA interacts with the government, community and public to enhance the business climate for its members and provide quality obtainable housing to the greater Houston community. GHBA is also active in community outreach and charitable events.
Kevin Frankel is a longtime Board Member of the Greater Houston Builder Association (GHBA). After serving as a Chairman of the Custom Home Builder’s Council in 2010 and becoming the youngest president in the association’s history in 2015, Kevin has remained an active member of GHBA and serves the community through HomeAid Houston, a nonprofit that builds new lives for homeless families, children and veterans through housing and community outreach. Scott Frankel has also been an active member of GHBA through his years spent on the GHBA sales and marketing council.
Texas Association of Builders
Founded in 1946, the Texas Association of Builders creates a positive business environment for the housing industry by addressing Texan’s housing issues. An affiliate of the National Association of Home Builders, the Texas Association of Builders includes 34 local home builders associations. With its 10,000 members representing 600,000 jobs and $30 billion of the Texas economy, TAB plays a crucial role in providing housing for Texans.
The staff and lobbyists of the association’s nationally recognized government relations program have helped get legislation passed that resulted in significant savings to the home building industry and, in turn, to the home-buying public. They have also helped defeat numerous bills that had the potential to harm our building industry.
On a state-level, Kevin was honored with the Texas Association of Builders 2015 Excellence under 45 Award. Finally, on a national level.
