About Tomball ISD
Fully accredited by the Texas Education Agency and the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools, Tomball ISD covers more than 83 square miles in Northwest Harris County and Southwest Montgomery County. Committed to high student achievement and progressive instructional programs, the district serves more than 12,400 students and has a reputation for excellence.
Tomball ISD is one of the area’s top school districts, with test results consistently higher than the state average.
Due to growth in the area, Tomball ISD voters approved a $160 million school bond referendum in 2013 for new district facilities, renovations at existing campuses, new technology and additional school buses. The district previously approved a $198 million bond package in 2007 for new district facilities, renovations at existing campuses, new technology, security cameras, and additional school buses. All projects under that bond, including the opening of a second high school, Tomball Memorial High School, in 2011, were completed as scheduled.
With the opening of additional school campuses in August 2015 to accommodate future growth, Tomball ISD is rezoning.
