We appreciate and admire the thoughtfulness of all of you at Frankel. We received a message from Darren before the storm, then Kevin, and you. We made it just fine in Jersey Village, but we were worried about your family in Porter. I couldn’t remember if you were in Porter or New Caney, but either way, we were praying for your safety. Please do not hesitate to let us know if you need help with anything at all.

Brian, very nice of you to send out this note. Just wanted to let you know the Deaton "Frankel built home" came through all this in great shape.

Thanks for reaching out Brian. Hopefully your family is ok. We are all good except the garage door. I will do what you recommended. Also reached out to James a few days ago. Thanks for building a solid home!!

"I was very happy with how the house held up during the flood. As the water kept rising, I did get a bit worried we would get water on the first floor. The pier and beam design, however, was plenty high to keep the water completely out of the house. I actually had 19” to spare at the highest point. The garage took on a few inches of water but nothing drastic. The cars all survived fine. I felt that allowing the water to move underneath the house kept the house from being moved or jolted. Also, the fence posts are dug well in to the ground. I had quite a bit of erosion around the wooden fence and if it wasn’t for how deep they are imbedded the fence itself would have been swept away."
